Smart Grids represent a new paradigm to the electric distribution network that allows an improvement in resource management, quality of service, helps reduce overload problems, and allows much better management in general.
The current project aims to apply Intelligent Data Analysis and Artificial Intelligence to the improvement of the smart grid.
Mainly, it focused on the challenges that it presents in Argentina (high summer electricity consumption, slow and bureaucratic processes, outdated information, lack of investment due to the high prices of imported goods, among others).
The project focuses on two main issues: Peak Consumption in the summer due to air conditioners and determination of the low voltage topology.
Each line has produced one patent and one or more publications up to the moment, and we expect more results and transference soon.
