The efficient management of the electricity demand appears for improving energy efficiency, decreasing the total energy load and allowing the reduction of the environmental impact produced by electricity consumption.
The Smart Grids provide access to the data about the electric network in real time and, in turn, allows the design of control and systems, develope of predictions, modeling, and data analysis systems, applied to the management and optimization of the electric consumption.
The aim of this project is the research and development of models, systems, and methodologies for the management and optimization of the electric consumption, focussing in particular on the application of methods based on Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligent to the analysis of data provided by smart grids.
