Nicolás Majorel Padilla

Short Bio

He has a Computer Engineer degree from Universidad Nacional de Tucumán (Argentina), granted on december 2001, and since then he's practiced the profession in various fields: academic, government, private companies and independently. In academics, he has teaching positions continuosly in UNT since december 2003 (actually, he's a Teaching Assistant). Between 2003 and 2010 he was a thesis advisor of 11 students, and advisor of 4 Professional Practices between 2007 and 2010. He's teached two extension courses, one in 2003 and one in 2008, and he is also a member of the Academic Commitee of Computer Engineering since 2008. Referring to I+D, he was part of a team who won three National Prizes (2006, 2007 and 2008) for developing embedded systems with Freescale microcontrollers. And from late 2010, he is a member of GITIA. His actual research areas involves MultiAgent Systems, Embedded Systems, Computer Architecture and Robotics."
